Elizabeth Wade

Biographical Info I describe my vocation as healing work for people and the planet, and think of my life purpose expansively as creating space for deepening understanding, connection, care, compassion and community, for the spiritual and sacred, and for reflection, learning, healing and growth. I apply this for myself, in my family, and in my communities - while doing work in the areas of climate and environmental activism, personal and group work, and community volunteering. How we do the work we do is very important to me and I centre my work around co-creating and cultivating a culture of collective care, and practise living lightly with love as I go, always to the best of my ever-growing skills and knowledge. Day to day this includes things like facilitating groups working through the Good Grief Network’s program “10 Steps to Personal Resilience and Empowerment in a Chaotic Climate”, and my work as Gas Free Vic Network Organiser in the No More Gas Collective at Friends of the Earth Melbourne, where I also volunteer with the Act on Climate Collective and the Wellbeing Working Group. I also volunteer locally in Ballarat where I live with our Repair Cafe, Cloth Nappy Library and local climate action.
