About me My name is Coralie and I am a bubbly 30-something French-Australian human with an endless love for people.
I was born in rural France and had a first career in environmental management across the UK, Singapore and Naarm/Melbourne. But at only 27, I burnt out at work and a car ran a red light and drove into me. I found myself having to review everything I thought I knew and found my way at the same time: helping others when they find themselves struggling in their own lives.
I launched my counselling practice in 2022 after having completed my Diploma of Counselling and I am currently studying a Master of Social Work in nipaluna/Hobart.
I work from a trauma-informed feminist and intersectional lens. This means that I acknowledge that counselling should not solely focus on "mental health issues" but help to review how people’s context (social, cultural, environmental) and more globally, the world we live in, have played a role in their presenting thoughts, feelings, behaviours and beliefs about the world and their place in the world. Climate change is a key concern happening all around us so it is essential for me to include it in my counselling practice.
