Therese Smith

My first career was in ecology, and I have spent decades grappling with environmental and climate issues and emotions. Teaching is where I have developed a strong interest in supporting young people with their climate distress. I have been an activist in one way or another all my life, most recently with Extinction Rebellion and was inspired by its regenerative culture. With the remainder of my life, I want help create Generation Symbiocene. I feel passionate about supporting each other in our climate distress and creating communities of care so we can productively and collectively make a positive difference to our future.
